You’ll be embedded within one or more Business Units working closely with the senior leadership and all employees to deliver a true Oyo experience for everyone.  With your contribution as a full-spectrum HR professional, Oyo will grow faster and more sustainably.

Your role will be to deliver a wide range of people initiatives that will help Oyo reach current and future business objectives and at the same time reinforce the global People Blueprint.

 

What you’ll be doing:

This role (like everything at Oyo) is exciting, challenging and will constantly offer you new opportunities.  As a starting point, here’s what you be working-on. 

  • Be the ‘People Guru’ and go-to person between the business and the central People team so that everyone at Oyo benefits from best-in-class people practices including hiring, reward, learning, career growth, Organisation Development and general guidance.
  • Champion a high performance culture:  Coach, influence, up-skill and encourage leaders to provide clear direction, goal clarity, feedback and ongoing development.
  • Deliver a consistently positive Oyo Employee Experience for every person all the time.
  • Get your arms around some important people projects and data including systems, process, metrics, discipline and financial control.
  • Build exceptional people capability at all levels, helping Managers to coach and support their teams on a local, scaleable level.
  • Alongside Senior Management, take full ownership of internal culture to solidify Oyo as an “employer of choice” in the UK.
  • Lots of travel - with 5 main hubs across the UK there will be a big amount of travel required on a weekly basis - from Scotland to Portsmouth

Your Experience.

  • You have thrived in a fast-paced tech-enabled environment and pride yourself on delivering immediate solutions with sustainable benefits.
  • You have what it takes to challenge line managers on key people & business decisions.
  • You are CIPD qualified with excellent knowledge of UK Employment Law
