Sr. Manager – IT (IT Asset Management)

Sr. Manager – IT Asset Management will be a Central IT Leadership role driving end to end IT Asset Management (Hardware & Software) activities pan India.

Key Responsiblities:

  • Responsible for management of IT Asset Management (Hardware & Software) function across all locations throughout India.
  • Manage the IT Assets life cycle which spans from acquiring till decommissioning of Assets, covering laptops, desktops, printers & other assets.
  • Develop and maintain IT Assets Policies & Processes.
  • Hands on management of IT Asset Management tool – act as SME for IT Asset Management.
  • Collaborate with Regional & International IT leaders to ensure processes, policies & best practices in IT Asset Management across India & other countries.
  • Prepare and review with leadership the dashboards related to procurement & vendor management.

Key Skills:

  • 10+ years IT experience, with majority in IT Asset Management (HAM & SAM)
  • Strong understanding of the IT Assets Management Process which covers all the components of Assets Management Lifecycle.
  • Experience in handling the assets management process at multi location level.
  • Hands on experience with any asset management tool.
  • Good exposure to manage inventory, up keeping records and assets data.
  • Should be good at logistics, assets transfer, issuing, receiving and records maintaining.
  • Should be well versed with MS Excel and other tools to process and report data.
  • Should have experience in creating and publishing IT Assets related reports, dashboards etc.
  • Project/Program Management Experience.
  • Superior and practical understanding of accepted IT principles, ability to create/improve process while keeping the fast pace of delivery in an environment where minimal existing processes exist
  • Capable of handling multiple simultaneous projects and meet deadlines, have an ability to work in a group setting as well as in an independent position with a detail-oriented attitude, be highly analytical by nature, be highly organized being able to effectively prioritize tasks, have exceptionally good problem solving skills, have an ability to work in a highly collaborative and fast-evolving environment, be highly adaptive and welcoming to change and passionate to learn new technologies
  • Exceptional leadership skills and be a people person with an ability to develop strong, meaningful, and lasting relationships with others. He/ she will be a likable, approachable, and relatable person who inspires trust in others who will then readily follow in his directives and trust in his insights
  • Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics or other relevant field; can be waived if you have moved mountains in past like co-founding a Unicorn
