What will you do at OYO?

  • Responsibility for the Scottish Regional Transformation function and team, ensuring that hotel partners meet the infrastructure, design and compliance standards of OYO UK
  • Working with the Head of Transformation, UK on setting up and optimising the processes needed to fulfil this role efficiently and he success of the Scotish TR team
  • Ensure that transformation audits of potential hotel partners are completed in a timely and thorough manner by the individual Transformation Managers, to generate an accurate cost, scope of works and time line
  • Ensure audits and photos are stored correctly onto company database
  • Collaborate with the Head of Transformation, UK on the continuous improvement of policies, procedures and trackers
  • Ensure that the transformation of hotel partners is conducted on time and on budget, whilst meeting OYO UK standards
  • Support the selection and management of the Scottish region contractor and vendor network
  • Ensure that OYO properties meet UK compliance, planning and building regulations standards when launched
  • Ensure that the Scottish Regional Transformation Team communicate effectively with Hotel Owners throughout the transformation process, thus driving customer engagement and delight
  • To identify and report any challenges that could impact the project timeline and to implement contingency and recovery plans as required
  • Ensure all projects are completed to the agreed budget, with strong cost control throughout
  • Forge and maintain strong wider working relationships with the other stakeholders and members of the Scottish Regional Team
  • Ensure effective reporting of team KPI’s

 

What you will bring to OYO?

  • Establishing and growing a function from scratch up and relishing a zero to one opportunity
  • Managing multiple projects across a wide geography preferably in renovation and refurbishment
  • Managing teams, preferably having people from different cultures and worked with different stakeholders
  • Civil engineering, Construction or Project Management qualification
  • Related degree is advantageous
  • Experience in this type of fast paced environment in either hotels, hospitality or retail
