What will you do at OYO?

 

 

  • Oversee the formulation and delivery of the People Strategy and Plan, aligned with the Company’s business strategy and goals

 

  • Lead on people decisions, training of the managers on HR topics, ensuring our policies and processes reflect the law and our values and we live by them
  • Drive efforts to further embed our unique culture and values to promote diversity & inclusion across all our offices
  • Work closely with the business, functional and HR Leadership teams to build and align the ‘People Roadmap’ with business strategy to build inspiring and talented teams.
  • Lead succession planning and people review meetings driving subsequent actions with Learning for Development to secure learning and development to ensure leadership capability is optimum and development plans are in place for leadership teams
  • Work with our Head of Talent to create an approach to recruitment that builds our employee brand and enables us to recruit top talent.
  • Ensuring the performance and ongoing development and engagement of the HR team alongside the HR Lead
  • Working with the HR Lead and Head of Talent lead succession planning and people review meetings driving subsequent actions with Learning for Development to secure learning and development to ensure leadership capability is optimum and development plans are in place for leadership teams

 

What you will bring to OYO?

 

  • A proven track record in people/ HR related role - You’ve ideally been a HR Head/Director/VP level in another fast-growing startup, and know what it takes to build a brilliant People function.
  • You are highly self-aware, personable and can show successful delivery across recruitment, employee growth, culture and engagement.
  • Previous mobility, compensation and benefits knowledge desirable
  • Broad commercial and business understanding with proven track record of successful project management
  • Ability to analyse data, draw accurate conclusions and communicate key messages succinctly
  • Deep knowledge of HR compliance and GDPR regulations
  • You embody proactivity, with a can-do roll-your-sleeves-up attitude, and don’t wait around to be told what to do!
