The Product team is focused on creating business value driven products & using data to help make better decisions about our products. Data is a critical part of our product development process, and Product Managers are their chief advocates. We work across the entire product development timeline, from early problem identification, solution definition, data explorations about user behaviour across multiple products, internal & external, and cycle that feedback back to the product development process.


We are looking for a Product Manager who can jump in and make an impact quickly. As part of a growing team in a new and critical market for OYO, you will get an opportunity to make business impact and also grow in your role to handle greater responsibilities. We hope you'll join us!


What will you do at OYO?

  • Working with multiple stakeholders to identify bottlenecks and opportunities to grow and define scalable solutions to the same
  • Draft PRDs & wireframes to help conceptualise the solution for all stakeholders involved in execution of the project
  • Work with design team to build easy to use products and collecting feedback from stakeholders and end users
  • Working with business, product & engineering team members to implement, document, validate, and monitor our logging and metrics
  • Crafting simple, dependable data pipelines and automated reporting to surface metrics
  • Identifying, translating, prioritizing, and informing important product questions with hypothesis, data insights and carefully crafted experiments
  • Exploring data to find actionable insights and make product recommendations through funnels, cohort analyses, long-term trends, user segmentation, regression models, and more
  • Synthesizing and communicating insights during the product development process
  • Perform basic market research of other products to create benchmark indices of products
  • Learning new tools, techniques & methods of data analytics as & when needed to improve on your job and set new benchmarks of performance
  • As part of a team that is growing aggressively in a new geography, you’d be expected to don many hats such as training team members across teams such as Sales, Operations, etc., helping with creation & updation of training material.
  • The role encompasses product management of multiple products, internal and external, as per business needs.


What you will bring to OYO?

  • Degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields preferred
  • Working knowledge of tools: AB testing tools
  • Extensive experience managing an online product with substantial number of users
  • Fluency in R, SQL & Microsoft Excel, as well as a deep understanding of statistical analysis, experiment design, and common pitfalls of data analysis
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Mixpanel or similar product analytics software.
  • Experience with Tableau or similar software to build seamless and easy to understand reports.
  • You are a self-starter & drive projects with minimal guidance and focus on high impact work
  • Strong communicator: You effectively synthesize, visualize, and communicate your ideas to others
  • You are a critical thinker: You are thoughtful, self-aware, and use the available evidence to make decisions
