Transformation forms the backbone of our core value promise of providing standardized experience.  Before any new hotel is on-boarded on OYO ’s platform, it has to undergo a ‘transformation’ – essentially an exhaustive checker makeover that is required to become an OYO. ‘Transformers’ –as people who work in this function are often called, are the custodians of standardization for OYO.

Transformation Managers will be the key drivers of successful property launches; bringing stringent timelines, cost-effective measures, thorough documentation, stakeholder interaction across functions and verticals within and outside the organization to culminate into a seamless project-managed launch.

What will you do? 

  • Conducting Audits:
    • Conducting a run through of all the potential OYO Hotel properties and submitting feasibility reports; reviewing the infrastructure and equipment.
    • Creating a budget and schedule for transformation of OYO property.  
  • Operations and Cost Optimization:
    • Time: Ensure all property launches are achieved in a timely manner.
    • Cost: Managing costs by resource planning, cost estimating, budgeting, and control.
    • Quality: Managing quality is about quality planning, quality assurance, and quality control.
    • Working closely with the purchasing department to plan inventory and delivery timelines of goods and services for launching properties as per scheduled launch dates. 
    • Depending upon your market, creating comparative tables of different contractors.
    • Full accountability of daily follow ups of current projects to ensure they are completed by projected deadline. 
    • Proactively raise blockers or potential risks that could impact the project delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborating extensively with all internal and external stakeholders for flawless execution of property transformation and launch.  

What you will bring?

      • You have previous knowledge of local regulations, experience working with contractors, suppliers, etc. 
      • You are an autonomous worker, hands on mindset, problem solver and takes initiative to constantly improve process with the ability to deliver results under pressure.
      • You are detail-oriented and are able to manage clear communication. 
      • You have an acumen for cost and resource optimization.
      • Graduate in any stream (Civil/ Construction/ Engineering is a priority). 
      • You have previous experience in construction, project management, commercial retail transformation
      • We are looking for candidates that are eligible to work in Germany as a MUST.
      • Native/Bilingual German speakers and fluent (C1) level of English is a MUST.
