What will you do at OYO?

 

  • Determine and take full ownership of the supply strategy for the Scotland business, ensuring that agreed targets are met (sellable room nights, number of cities, take rates etc)
  • Establish a team for securing supply across Scotland, and lead Business Development Manager (BDM) recruitment and talent development
  • Determine incentivization structure for BDMs, and put in place ad hoc reward and recognition schemes
  • Establish tools for tracking supply generation, and materials for pitching. develop best-in-class training programs (alongside HR) for BDMs
  • Develop a deep understanding of our target customer (the Hoteliers), sharing insights and recommendations with the broader business as appropriate
  • Ensure that feedback from the BDMs is communicated to the broader business, and acted on as necessary
  • Collaborate with other Senior Management to ensure that the UK business succeeds, and becomes an “employer-of-choice” for the best talent in the market


What you will bring to OYO?

 

  • Solid and extensive experience in business development/sales, with experience of high-growth, tech-enabled, UK B2B business preferable
  • Clear track record of success in building and leading business development/sales teams
  • Educated to degree level, with a strong academic record or equivalent
  • Vast experience of recruitment, talent development, and leadership
