Hotel Operations Manager - North England

Manchester, England, United Kingdom Full-time Allows remote

We are seeking dynamic and ambitious hospitality management professionals to join Oyo's expansion in the UK. You will manage a network of hotel partners across the North of England ensuring Oyo's standards across the network. This role will involve travel across the North of England, though can be home based with occasional travel to our regional office in Manchester.

What will you do at OYO?

  • Become a trusted partner of your hotels, developing close relations with owners and staff
  • Take full ownership of the guest experience in an OYO hotel
  • Ensure that hotels meet OYO standards through regular audits, investigations, and training
  • Ensure that hotel information is displayed correctly on all online channels
  • Resolve guest queries and issues as they arise
  • Conduct regular reviews with hotel owners and staff, collaborating to further improve the customer experience
  • Ensure that OYO’s technology is deployed effectively in hotels
  • Develop a deep understanding of OYO’s technology and different products
  • Train hotel owners and staff to operate OYO technology precisely and efficiently
  • Understand local needs and issues, and communicate accurately to technology team.
  • Collaborate with technology team to develop new products and features where necessary
  • Ensure that revenue opportunities are maximised for hotels
  • Ensure that OYO is aware of key facts regarding room availability
  • Deliver 100% availability, ensuring repairs and maintenance are conducted immediately
  • Collaborate with revenue management team, providing input on pricing and availability
  • Conduct regular reviews with hotel owners and staff, collaborating to maximise RevPar
  • Collaborate with broader team to ensure that the UK business succeeds, and becomes an “employer-of-choice” for the best talent in the market.

What you will bring to OYO?

  • Clear track record of success in operations and customer service
  • Previous experience in a high growth business – tech-enabled and B2B is preferable but not essential
  • Start-up experience is preferable but not essential
  • Background in hospitality is preferable but not essential
  • Driving Licence Required
